“Leaders are leaders because they act, not because of how smart they are.”

You don’t have to be the smartest person in the room, but you do have to be decisive.

You don’t have to know everything there is to know about the situation. You just need enough good, reliable information to make an informed decision.

You don’t have to talk to everybody in the organization before you act. Get counsel from a few reliable and trustworthy people.

Your people are looking at you and waiting for the decision. How long are you going to make them wait?

People want to be led. The longer you wait, the longer the organization stands still.
