Scott Bevis is a member of C3 Church Bridgeman Downs in Brisbane, Australia. He came to Brazil for the first time back in 2014. C3BD is very involved in the ministry of Compassion International. As a church, they sponsor around 180 children. Scott sponsors two of his own, both in Brazil.

On his first trip to Brazil, his team spent time in Northeast Brazil working at the Compassion Projects and meeting his sponsored children. After that, his team came to Curitiba and did some meetings at C3 Church Curitiba. Scott came back to Brazil in 2016 with another great team of Australians. They again spent time with the Compassion Ministry and met their sponsored children.

Annie and I met up this team in São Paulo where they ministered in C3 Church ABC and C3 Church Santos. We all ended up in Curitiba where they also led some great meetings at C3 Church Curitiba. When the team left, Scott stayed behind. He plans on living with us for at least four months.

Scott was able to take a leave of absence from his job in Australia to serve in Brazil. He wants to be a part of C3 Church Curitiba while he is here and serve wherever he is needed. He also has a heart to stay connected with Compassion International and see how he might be able to serve them as well.

We are humbled by Scott’s commitment and his willingness to serve the Lord in a foreign country. Would you pray for him as he serves with us in Brazil? Thanks so much!

Annie and I are training leaders and helping plant churches in Brazil. Would you consider joining our team? Your gifts help us continue to have an impact in so many lives. Just click here to get involved. Obrigado!
