It is easy to think that God’s call for our lives is something dramatic or something that thrusts us into the limelight. For most of us, though, God’s call involves serving him faithfully in the arena that he has placed us. This is not a second-class call. God needs people representing him in every business, school, and neighborhood.

Jesus taught us to pray, “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10) The only way that God’s Kingdom will be established in the earth is by his people carrying the kingdom into their workplaces, schools, neighborhoods, and families. We are the representatives of his Kingdom.
