“But we are citizens of heaven…”

These are scary days. The media is constantly bombarding us and telling us how bad things are. Fear. Uncertainty. Depression. Panic. Anger. Desperation. These are some of the emotions that we see all around us.

I am proud of my American citizenship. I am thankful for my country. For those who have put their trust in Jesus, however, we belong to a different Kingdom. Faith is the currency of that Kingdom. Love. Peace. Joy. Courage. Trust. Assurance. I’d much rather have these than the ones in the first paragraph.
